Requirements:

10+ years of experience in codebase version control, qualifying as a Senior or Expert-level professional
Proven Git expertise as both an administrator and an end-user
Good experience in Perl, Shell (ksh) or bash scripting
Good knowledge of Linux (RHEL knowledge is ideal)
Experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes
Experience with general software development practices
EU citizenship is required for security clearance (British and Turkish may also be acceptable due to the end-customer)
Language(s): English (fluent)

Job Description:

Serve as the Git administrator for a large and complex project
Provide expert support to end-users and ensure the smooth operation of the Git environment
Utilise scripting languages (Perl, Shell or bash) to automate SCM processes and tasks
Implement and maintain SCM processes in alignment with development best practices
Provide customer-oriented support and work collaboratively within the development team
