ROLE PURPOSE This position will play a role ensuring for CHC A2R Tax process are running both local and GBS level. The purpose of this role is to execute:

• Support monthly tax closing and reporting activities as per group timetable (mainly VAT)
• Support tax calculations including indirect taxes, income tax, deferred tax calculation and preparation of tax returns
• Support tax reporting at Group and country levels
• Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner

GBS A2R Tax Trainee reports to A2R GBS Head of Tax and MD Accounting in GBS Center and works closely with GBS A2R Tax team, CHC Country Senior Accounting Partner, Finance (Finance performance, Business analysis & controlling, Treasury, Tax, Internal Control), IFSA and other GBS (SBS) departments. GBS A2R Tax Trainee will support technical process implementation, controls and compliance in all topics related to tax accounting and reporting. He/she will contribute together with ITS to implement new or existing tools in CHC LE and to ensure that they operationally ready. GBS A2R Tax Trainee will be involved on GBS process improvements, further standardization and contribute to related projects. Key requirement for GBS Junior Tax Accountant: 1. Deliver tax services to CHC GBS within perimeter:

• Support corporate reporting on time according to closing calendar
• Support tax calculations, including indirect tax (VAT), property tax, withholding tax and other taxes, prepare related tax returns
• Support retained team in profit tax and deferred tax calculation by IFRS and statutory GAAP, in preparation of related tax returns
• Support that all recurring and non-recurring tax items are collected, tax accounts reconciled and tax Manual Journal Entries (MJE) booked
• Support preparation of tax reporting at Group and country levels
• Support tax audits, internal and external audits
• Support the preparation of ad-hoc tax reports and analysis

Expected Skills

• Graduate degree in accounting or finance
• Broad understanding of GL Accounting, monthly closure and reporting activities
• Strong deductive and analytical skills
• Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with A2R front line teams with an end to end mindset
• Ability to organize, prioritize and structure the tasks as per deadline
• Attentive to detail and works with precision

• Fluency in English mandatory and other European languages are desirable

• Advantages:

• Experience in tax or accounting preferably in an international multicultural environment
• SAP ERP and other accounting applications
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel
• Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
